Artwork -- Different plans put different caps on the number of artworks that can be displayed at any given time. There is no limit on the number of uploads as long as the total number of artworks remains under the cap. You are always free to remove old artworks to make room for new ones. Visitors of your website are typically presented with scaled-down images of your artwork to make them fit in a browser window. Some plans allow your visitors to zoom-in and view the full-size, high-resolution images. Copyright -- While no method can fully guarantee that your images will not be copied or duplicated, Zhibit.org employs various technical means to protect your copyright in the work you upload to the site. Directory listing -- Zhibit.org's directory is a simple way to increase the visibility of your website and to help visitors find your artwork. The directory lists all member websites cross sectioned by geography or categories and makes your artwork searchable through Zhibit.org's site search. Search engine optimization (SEO) and crawl priority -- All websites hosted on Zhibit.org are periodically crawled by search engines. Crawl priority increases the priority and frequency of the crawl of your content and allows you to choose keywords to be associated with your website. Crawl priority does not affect the ranking of your content in search results. Guestbook -- All subscription plans include a guestbook where visitors can sign up to receive automatic emails periodically whenever your site is updated. The mailing list extends on this functionality by letting you proactively send out an email message to your guests with the content of your choosing. Frequency limitations apply. Blog -- Blogs are the web's version of diaries. The limit put by the plan is on the total number of blog entries that you can display at any given time. You may freely remove old entries to make room for new ones. Ad timeshare (beta) -- Link your Google AdSense for Content account to display online ads on your website and earn a share of the revenue they generate. This feature is currently in beta and is subject to change at any time. Online sales -- Link your PayPal business account with Zhibit.org and allow your visitors to buy your art directly off your website. Shopping cart -- A shopping cart allows buyers to aggregate multiple items into a single order and to commit one large purchase. Without a shopping cart, buyers must instead purchase each item separately. Domain aliasing -- When you connect a privately owned domain name to Zhibit.org you designate our systems to serve all requests to it. When visitors navigate their browser to your domain, our servers will respond while obscuring our domain name from the browser's address bar. Domain name registration is not included with subscription and additional costs may be involved. Site analytics -- Link your third-party site analytics account with Zhibit.org to analyze how visitors interact with your website. | | Evaluation period |
Zhibit.org provides a free trial period commencing at the time your subscription is initiated. While your website is not visible to the public during this trial period, it is fully functional and you are able to custom build it in any fashion you want. Any data you upload to the site and any customizations you apply to it are preserved and will remain in effect once you activate your account. The trial period is our way of giving you time to try the service out risk-free. It is meant for you, not for us. Your website will become visible the second you activate your account and indication of payment has been received from PayPal.Zhibit.org is committed to providing our subscribers with quality content. We are therefore unable to offer free and unaccountable subscriptions. Considering we do not employ ads, engage in marketing programs or charge transaction fees, we think Zhibit.org's rates are very competitive and offer a great value. | | Rate guarantee |
Zhibit.org may, from time to time, modify or discontinue subscription plans. You are however guaranteed that your rate will never increase as long as you stay on a particular plan. Your rate is guaranteed even if the plan is discontinued. Nevertheless, if you switch from a discontinued plan, you may not be able to switch back to it. | | Refund policy |
Due to the automated nature of the subscription process, Zhibit LLC cannot generally provide refunds for unused portions of subscription periods. We do however prorate any unused time when you switch between subscription plans so that you always get the time you've paid for. Please be aware of this policy when choosing a long-term plan.If you believe your situation warrants special consideration please contact us and explain your reasons. In justified cases we will issue you a prorated refund within no more than 2 weeks of your request. |
