As the exhibition comes to a close, unsold paintings are taken down from the Galleries walls while grateful thanks is given to the Curator for hosting a wonderful & successful show...and now...it's time to reflect and start off on the next exciting venture looking towards 2009 already whew!

Easter is approaching, and wether you are religeous or not... it is the time for renewal and new beginings...

So... for the Artist within, take the time time learn a new technique or way of doing something that will enhace your ever talented artistic toolbox. To expand ones talents to include a new persuit keeps the creative mind open and inspired...

Renew yourself, if you spend all you time painting indoors go outside and paint! if you Plein Air it, try a new location and subject different from your normal endevour...

Either way, Have a wonderful Easter Time... Refresh yourself!...

Hi there,

I am finally getting some time to create some fresh new works,

I only get a chance to do these between commissions. I have been really busy filling orders. So having the oportunity to create what I want is a real treat.

I adore painting still life, I am a bit of a gatherer, sooo when I get the oportunity I browse antique stores looking for a special little something that will bring another painting to life. Inspiration is everywhere!

If you are an artist reading this for yourself, and you may be feeling a little uninsipred...

Ask yourself

What do I love?

What do I enjoy?

then paint that... I'm sure at the very least you will inspire yourself to get a little more out of life.. & if you hear a little voice that says "I cant or you cant paint that!" for heavens sake paint and the voice will be silenced...
