About Paul Duckworth July 12, 1920 – September 22, 2005 Paul Duckworth had a vast repertoire of styles stamped with his personal magic. In 1942-43, he was commissioned to paint First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff, who is regarded as one of the most influential pianists of the 20th century.
