Themes of illness, mortality, and intimacy pervade much of my recent work. My drawings, paintings, and wax sculptures are inspired by dispassionate photographs of human dissections culled from medical literature, that are at times combined with photorealist renderings of still life photography and my own written meditations on love and death.
