| | Playing in a woodland creek in the Maryland countryside where I grew up was where I began a fascination with nature. The changes and patterns I observed in the elements of sky, fields, and trees, through weather and seasons, kept me company and were the subjects of my early drawings. I continue to expand on my lifelong pastime. I paint outside: in my home garden, and in places as close as Sonoma and Yosemite, and as far away as Scotland. Two day show, possible extension, on October 4th & 5th, of watercolors, some shown at the Petaluma show. Reception on Sunday the 5th, from 3pm to 6 pm or so.
