| | | | This is a very close copy of a master artist in the old times by the name of Beirdstadt. He and many others in that time set the mood and atmosphere standards for all fantasy landscape artists today. This is a done by traditional means, good old paint and illustration board. I wanted to see where my skill and techniques stand with them. There is much to say in the context of a landscape, the artist's technical ability, the reasons he does this subject and the lighting control. I did it for these and much more. Lastly, I do it because I can.
Technical Info: This painting is small. The trees are even smaller! I love working at different sizes and mediums it keep me sharp in skill.
