Vases and trays are functional; vases hold water and trays can be used for food or other objects. After each use hand wash gently in warm soapy water and allow to air dry. Never wash Raku in the dishwasher. Larger wall pieces can be rinsed in the shower and then air dried.
Never place Raku in direct sunlight. Artificial lighting is excellent and highlights the dramatic finish of the ware.
