As early back as I can remember in my life, I was always drawing, painting or creating something. Whether writing poetry or sketching, my hands were entertained with my imagination.

Pablo Picasso said, "Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life."

Art is my creative escape from the everyday commotion of life. Time seems to disappear when I'm in my studio and my thoughts get lost in whatever creative task I'm doing.

When I went to college, I was determined not to turn my love for art into my job. I didn't want to force what I loved into something that had to pay the bills -- I wanted my art to be the thing that I turned to when I wasn't busy making a living.

I graduated in 1998 with a B.S. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations & Advertising.

After getting married in 2000, I was able to quit my job and pursue my art full-time (thanks to my wonderful supporting husband). I enjoy painting, collage, photography and jewelry-making. My artwork is collected in homes across the U.S. and internationally.
