Artist Statement.
I am extremely passionate about where I have been and what I have experienced. I use the memories that I have gleaned from those experiences as a starting point in my work. My work often has common themes running through it such as childhood, motherhood and the family unit as a whole.
I concentrate on my own family for the most part but also paint anything remotely concerning the family unit. I always prefer to paint subjects or objects that I am passionate about because I believe Art to be a statement from the Artist’s heart.
