More SASS - Gearing up for Fall

❦ To Join the official Elisabeth Bell Page on Facebook, click Here ❦

And my final post for this evening is SASS images!

As Fall is the next season away, these SASS sketches are indicative of this golden time of the year. So why not prepare for it? :)

You may be wondering why I am posting so many things tonight as if you have become familiar with me over the past few months, I'm not usually so overly zealous about blog postings LOL ;p

For this 4th of July weekend, our family will be taking an exciting trip up to the White Mountains for a camping getaway at the Bell cabin. For the past several years, my little family has not been able to participate in this enjoyable retreat due to my being pregnant and having to recover from pregnancy et cetera. But this year, we can!

So hubby and I went out shopping last week and bought a massive tent large enough to fit 8 people - even though it will just be him and me and our 3 young kids haha! It has multiple rooms and a canopy that can be removed so we can view the stars through the ceiling. The best part is the tent was on sale when we got it! Hahaha. We want to make this trip out extra fun for us all. I hope to take lots of pics and post a few of them here when we return ;).

Okay, enough chatter. Here are the SASS images:

Warm Apple Pie (Image 1 below)

Apples and Bread (Image 2 below)

Boy Baking (Image 3 below)

I know, I know. Even though it is an Autumn theme, I have a thing for APPLES. I just love their gorgeous, rich colours. And they always taste great in just about everything!

I hope you enjoy the SASS images. And next week, I plan to post some of your Marvelous Memories.

Oooh. And next week, soooo much excitement begins!! Wahooo!

Huggles again!

Elisabeth xx

Belles 'n Whistles First Sneak Peek! 6/30/09

Belles 'n Whistles First Sneak Peek!

☆ To join the "Elisabeth Bell" Facebook Page, please click Here. ☆

Two pieces of exciting things to share!

First, I wanted to share with you this gorgeous picture of Daniella, Summer’s beautiful niece (below). For those of us who don’t know who Summer is, she is the delightful owner of Roses on Paper and the very new and fabulous Belles ‘n Whistles Stamps online store. Summer is one of the most amazing women to work with! And here is her lovely niece, Daniella, wearing the beautiful “Little Miss Sunshine” T-Shirt. Daniella, you look GORGEOUS in your shirt!! Thanks so much for sending a piccy of you to me to share with everyone!

And the Big News! Summer of the delicious new Belles ‘n Whistles Stamps is holding their first exciting Belles 'n Whistles Sneak Peek of one of the stamps Belles ‘n Whistles will be releasing shortly!

Here is one of the uncovered pieces of the Belles 'n Whistles Sneak Peek Puzzle. This super fun Sneak Peek created by Summer is an ingeniously delicious scavenger hunt where you need to blog-hop the Belles 'n Whistles DT to find out the other puzzle pieces in order to unravel the mystery image beneath. Can you guess which stamp is hidden under it?

Here is a clue: you can look through my SASS Gallery to make your guess.

And here is another exciting tip: None of my images are duplicated by another company so all the stamps that will appear with Belles 'n Whistles (and the other companies I will be working with) are NEW and not released anywhere else ;)

Be sure to hop on over to the Belles ‘n Whistles blog for more details and to participate in this really exciting Peek! Good luck to everyone!

Huggles!

Elisabeth xx

Wow! Do I have a lot to share with you all!

I have been sooooo busy working on a bajillion yummy images that I haven’t updated my blog for the past week and a bit. So I thought I’d let you see a little of my private world into my very messy, um, work area haha. I do not have a tidy work station. I’ve actually dragged myself out of my office and started working at our diningroom table for want of more room and boy, have I created an even bigger mess! I thought I’d share the state of my head with you, which is reflected in the ingenious mess on the pic here hehe.

You may notice 2 things. A pink binkie belonging to little Eden. And an image I am working on that has been blurred on purpose *wink wink*

Okay, now onto the really important news. Lots of blog candy happening (soon here) all over the place. More news next!

Lots of hugs,

Kristen and "Little Miss Sunshine" T-Shirt

Hi Everyone!

What a full and crazy week it's been! It was my husband's birthday earlier this week, and I have been drawing like a mad woman (you may have read this on my Facebook Page's status' this week haha). Also with the onset of July approaching so quickly and many new and exciting things happening (more details soon!), I have been so busy that I do not have a Special SASS Marvelous Memory sketch to post this evening, but stick around as I will still post one this coming week.

I also wanted to share with you this super lovely picture of my very beautiful friend, Kristen from Australia, modeling the "Little Miss Sunshine" T-Shirt. I was so excited when Kristen sent this image to me that I just HAD to post it on my blog to share with the world. And I will add that Kristen certainly makes that shirt super STUNNING! :D

If you have purchased one of the "Elisabeth Bell Designs" T-Shirts (and a very big Thank you to you!), I would love to see how it looks on you. Please feel free to email me your pic and I will post it here on my blog.

To purchase this design, or to view other "Elisabeth Bell" T-Shirt designs, please go Here.

For those of you here in the States, have a fabulous Father's Day for tomorrow! Ours will be a day filled with love for my children's wonderful Daddy, who is also my beloved husband and Soul Mate, and the evening will be spent having dinner with our parents. Fathers, and having a reason to celebrate them, are the Best! I hope you enjoy yours.

Big Huggles,

Special SASS - Cooking with Nanna 6/13/09

Special SASS - Cooking with Nanna

Hello Everyone!

Here is more Special SASS as promised. This Marvelous Memory Sketch is dedicated to Tasha from N. Ireland. One of her favourite childhood memories is mentioned in Tasha’s own words:

"Hi i'm Tash from N Ireland...My favourite childhood memory is cooking with my nanna i can still hear the giggles and smell the beautiful food she always created. I've added your candy to my blog http://impressive-expressions.blogsopt.com. Love and hugs, Tash"

-- Tasha, 5/21/09

Tasha, when I imagined you and your Nanna cooking together, I thought of what a happy moment it was, filled with giggles and aromatic sunshine. So I created a sweet and simple sketch, yet one that I am hoping captures your precious memories. I hope you enjoy the sketch from your inspirational memory ;). Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.

❀ Cooking with Nanna (below image 1)

And here is another image I created recently, showing a young boy and young girl reading together. I have simply called it, “Reading”.

❀ Reading (below image 2)

This image brings back many lovely memories for me when I was a little girl as I always loved to read. But I often read alone, in my sacred fortress (my bedroom) and I would fly away on wings of imagination, to Enid Blyton’s “Magic Faraway Tree” and visit Moon Face and Silky. Or I would forever scan over the amazingly intricate illustrations of Jill Barklem’s Brambly Hedge. They were some of my most favourite reads. And I still have all the books! I can’t wait to pass them down to my own children to feast from their delightful pages.

And now, my hubby and I read together all the time. Our latest favourite is the Twilight saga (which a few of you may well be aware of due to my family blog lol). My husband and I agree that reading together is one of the Most Special Moments we enjoy together.

I hope you enjoy the sketches.

Oh yes, last but not least, remember that Whiff of Joy will be releasing the latest Willow and Oakley collection, “Woman’s Delight - Wedding and Baby” on June 14th. For your convenience, to place your order, you may click HERE.

Have a lovely Sunday, and I shall write again soon!

Big hugs,

Elisabeth xx

A Special Pic For A Special Day 6/8/09

A Special Pic For A Special Day

I thought it would be fun to show you what we've been up to over the weekend with the Bell clan. On Saturday, my 8 year old daughter, Alora, was baptised. It was a very special day for her, and for all of us. Her Daddy baptised her at the chapel and after, we enjoyed a fun filled time as a family at Grandma and Grandpa Bell's for a barbecue and a swim. I can't tell you what a busy day it was and how crazy I felt that morning. I forgot to bring towels and a hair brush, and thankfully, my cousin and good friend Aubry came to our rescue. Thanks Aubry!

This is a family picture that was taken outside of the church after Alora's baptism. Alora is the pretty young girl in the peach outfit seated on the front row between her Grandpa Great and her cousin. I am wearing the white skirt seated in the front row, holding my 18 month old daughter Eden, and my beloved husband, Clint, is sitting next to us holding our soon to be 3 year old son.

With all the excitement, it was great to come home again and to put our feet up. But as always, there really is no rest when it comes to designing lovely images for you all to play with. So essentially, it's "Back to the drawing board" haha ;D

Big hugs,

Elisabeth xx

Whiff of Joy will be releasing a heart warming collection, “Women’s Delight”I hope you enjoy my designs in this very sweet collection. You may also see a Sneek Peak of one of the stamps in this delightful collection here. Whiff of Joy's "Women's Delight" will be hitting the Whiff of Joy online store on June 14th

Please visit the very talented Katharina Frei’s blog to read more details on Whiff of Joy’s latest release.

And for more exciting news. I want to make mention that Leah's Special SASS Marvelous Memory will become a stamp! Huzzah!! Well done Leah! :D I won't disclose all the details, but you can look for clues under the sketch in the SASS Gallery ;).

As promised, here is today’s Special SASS Marvelous Memory, the second in this series. I chose Tracey’s Marvelous Memory. Here is her comment that she left on my recent Blog Candy:

"Hi I'm Tracey from Fife in Bonnie Scotland...My favourite childhood memory is picking raspberries in the back garden with my Grandma and then turning them into yummy jam. The smell was amazing and I adored the little paper lids we used to cover the pots. I have popped a link on my blog http://teaghens.blogspot.com/ Thanks for the chance to win. Tracey xxx"

I love your memory Tracey! So much infact, that I drew a couple of sketches, but couldn’t decide which one to choose LOL. So I’ve posted them both here for you all to see. And decide for yourselves :). If I had to choose, Raspberry Jam is my personal favourite between the two...but then, I really really like Jam Jars! also.

*sigh*

I can't decide! haha

❀ Raspberry Jam (below Image 1)

❀ Jam Jars! (below Image 2)

I hope you enjoy them :).

Have a wonderful evening/day, wherever you may be!

Here is Leah’s winning comment:

I am in total awe of your work, Elisabeth! It takes me right back to my childhood just viewing your imagery. My clearest childhood memory would have to be kneeling beside my bed, saying my prayers. - Not that we're overly religious or anything, just that our parents were teaching us values that we've kept with us through the years. I've written about you on my blog, and although I don't have any of your stamps yet, I have quite a few in my wishlist over at Sugar Nellie's, waiting for DH's approval! PS I'm from Australia

-- Leah Mayes, 5/14/09

Congratulations Leah!! I’m sooo excited for you! Especially as I am able to send these yummy prizes to a fellow Aussie ;). How super cool that the random results should fall on you! Woohoo!!

You have won the "Elisabeth Bell" Whiff of Joy Guardian Angel stamp set that you see featured above, including a shirt designed by me featuring one of the designs from one of my galleries here on my website. I will post the image shortly here on my site, and you can choose the size and the color of your shirt. Unfortunately child sizes are not available at this point, but I am looking into finding an outlet that will carry this option. PLUS I will create your memory into a sketch and place it in my SASS Gallery in your honour. Your memory will be dedicated to you and I will add your comment that lead you to winning your prize. Furthermore, I will also be more than happy to add your blog address below your dedicatory sketch. If you would send me your blog address, that would be fantastic.

A big thank you to everyone else for participating in this exciting Blog Candy Give Away. I look forward to creating SASS sketches based on each of your memories as the platform of inspiration. Thank you, once again, for the timeless opportunity to place your memories into a design modeled by your own experiences. This means alot to me.

Congratulations once again Leah! Please email me your address and I will send you more details on your shirt shortly. Please allow 4-6 weeks (at the most) for the print of your shirt and delivery of your prize.

Oh, last but not least, the Whiff of Joy Summer Stamp Kit is now available in single stamps. So if you did not get the opportunity to pre-order the Whiff of Joy Summer Stamp Kit, which is now no longer available, you can still get the stamps individually. Please visit the Whiff of Joy online store for more details.

Enjoy your day everyone!

Biggest Hugs,

Elisabeth xx

❀ ❀ ✿ ❀

It is way late again here and I’m up blogging once again. LOL It’s really the only time I get to do anything “convenient”. When the kids are in the Land of Nod, it’s drawing time, workout time, movie time, snack time and cuddle time with hubby. Kidlets Bed time = Bliss! :D

Before I post the latest SASS images, I just HAVE to say how MUCH I ADOORE your childhood memories that many of you have included in your comments under my latest blog candy. Gasp! They are indeed the platform to next-to-perfect inspirations for SASS sketches! If you don’t mind, I would LOVE to feature your ideas for SASS images. I know that I had promised the winner this opportunity (which they will certainly receive), but I cannot help extending this opportunity to EVERYONE as I find all your childhood memories intoxicatingly sweet and absurdly irresistible!

If I may, it would be my absolute pleasure to incorporate your memories for my up and coming SASS sketches and of course, you will receive credit for the inspiration and I will name the image after you on my SASS gallery. Your name, your memory and your blog link (if you have one) will be posted beneath your special memory image. I hope each of you will allow me this privilege, as it would be such a fantastic opportunity for me to place your memory into a sketch which will as a result, have the chance to be turned into a stamp! I’m just all a giddy imagining some of your sweet memories as a sketch and possibly a STAMP...*shivers with delight*

*Notes that children are in bed and shivers with GREATER delight!* heehee

So now that the EXCITING news has been shared with you (woot!), here are my latest SASS images:

Little Eden (featured above)

Once Upon a Time

Little Miss Sunshine (Watermelon)

I hope you enjoy them. Have a fantastic rest of the week, and if you haven’t already entered my latest Blog Candy, please feel free to join in the fun. To enter, please click here.

Big Big Hugs,

Elisabeth xx

Oh! I really love the images of little Eden. She reminds me of my little sister when she was younger. I just want to squeeze her!
-- Erin , 5/22/09

Oh my....all four of your images are beautiful! I love the baby images, they are so sweet and precious. hugs Risa:)
-- Risa, 5/18/09

those are simply stunning Elisabeth - and I agree, I find myself counting down the minutes til the kids go to bed, just so I can go and craft in peace - without one of them saying "mummy, can I make a card too" and running off with the glitter glue

☆ Whiff of Joy Guardian Angel Collection Candy Give Away ☆

✰ This Blog Candy Give Away is Now Closed. Thank You to everyone for participating. The lucky Winner will be announced tomorrow. Good Luck to Everyone! ✰

Hello Again Peeps!

First of all, a big sunny Happy Mother’s Day to all Mothers and Future Mothers! I hope you all had a fabulous day on Sunday and were spoiled and pampered to no end (because as we all know, we deserve it! ;D) My hubby bought me a large DVD cabinet to store our massive DVD collection in (from Baby Einstein and Kipper dvds to Super Hero type movies including X-Men, Batman et cetera) and had to return to the store twice to collect all the correct pieces for it LOL (it was supposedly a good buy until it was time to assemble and we discovered there were duplicate pieces and missing screws...Aaauurrgghh!) But in the end, it looked okay and is doing the job. And he went out and got me a bunch of roses and made me omelets on Sunday morning. So everything turned out spiffingly haha.

Secondly, I want to thank Rachel Jakes for her beautiful handmade Birthday Card that I received in the mail last week. Thank you sooo much Rachel, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw how gorgeous your card is! I will post an image of your card soon on one of my galleries for you and the world to see ;).

Camilla, I will also do the same for your stunning creation which I am inlove with also. Thank you for your patience. I have always loved your creations and I look forward to featuring your very special birthday card in one my galleries - along with so many of your other delightful creations heehee ;)

All you ladies are super talented and I just want you to know how much I appreciate your thoughtfulness and your love for my work as an artist. Thank you, thank you once again, to everyone who made my birthday so special for me.

During the last blog, I promised a big Blog Candy Give Away, and the wait is finally over. Woohoo! Once again, sponsored by my lovely friend and the very generous Katharina Frei of Whiff of Joy Stamps, one whole set of the latest “Guardian Angel” stamps, including accessories, will go to one lucky winner. Included in the winnings, the winner will also receive a T-shirt with an Elisabeth Bell design on the front. The winner will have a choice of available colors to select from as well as select the size of the shirt. I will add more exciting details on this shortly ;)

Featured on the image above are the super cute Whiff of Joy stamps to be won. They are listed as follows:

  1. Confirmand Melinda
  2. Confirmand Matthew
  3. Melinda with Muffin Basket
  4. Melinda with Bouquet
  5. Musing Melinda
  6. Swirly Clouds
  7. Cat with Bow
  8. Cute Snail
  9. Presents Tower
  10. Wooden Bench
  11. Muffin Basket

PLUS one exclusive Elisabeth Bell designed T-shirt sporting your choice of color and size - something a little different to the usual print give away :).

Each Whiff of Joy stamp is unmounted and individually packaged. You are also welcome to click on the links to be directed to the Whiff of Joy online store to see the images more clearly.

Here is what you need to do to enter. As always, it is very simple :)

☆ Leave a comment below this blog post

☆ Share with us where you are from

☆ Share one brief favorite childhood memory you have if you wish

☆ If you have a blog, please post this Candy on it. If you don't have a blog, no problem at all. You are still more than welcome to enter.

☆ Update: The winner will have the chance to have me turn their special childhood memory into a sketch which will be placed in the very popular SASS Gallery on my website. Which means the winner's memory sketch may have the opportunity to be turned into a stamp. If the winner's memory becomes a stamp, the image will be dedicated to the lucky winner and named after their special Memory under one of my Galleries on my website! So be sure to add one of your childhood memories if you'd like the possibility of it becoming a stamp image! ;D

Update: If the winner happens to live overseas (ie. NOT in the United States) please note that I will pay for your prize/package to leave the United States but I will not cover Customs fees. Customs, if it applies to your country, will be your responsibility. Thank you for your understanding.

I will leave this Candy open for 2 weeks to give everyone plenty of time to enter ;) Oh, and just so you know, if you accidentally leave multiple comments, they will still only be counted as one comment hehe. This Candy is now officially open and will close on Sunday 25th May at midnight Arizona USA time. All comments left after this time will not be counted. The winner will be chosen randomly through random.org and posted the following day so keep your eyes peeled on this space. It could be YOU. Good luck to everyone, spread the word and get those comments posted! ;D

I am truly impressed every time I see your work. The stamps are so fun to work with. I am from Alabama. My favorite memories growing up are playing with cousins at my granny's house.
-- Teresa, 5/24/09

Your images are darling. One of my childhood memories is spending time at the lake. I remember always wearing a swim suit cover up and it was always terry cloth material. We wore it so we would not get sun burnt, now there is sun screen but not back then. Thank you for offering this set as blog candy. Enjoy your day. Margaret
-- Margaret Lynn Smith, 5/24/09

Acrylic stamps or girls are my addiction. I can already imagine what i could do with these stamps. I'm headin over to her site and check her line out. Also, your dog eatin watermelon, tooooooo cute!!!!

❀ Belles 'n Whistles Stamps ✿ 5/11/09

❀ Belles 'n Whistles Stamps ✿

Heydi Hi Peeps!

A little bird just flew by from Roses on Paper in Hawaii and told me there is a super awesome online store opening very soon called, "Belles 'n Whistles Stamps". I’ve left a logo of the store here for you all to see. The name of the store itself just tickles my senses! It promises to be VERY exciting so be sure to keep your eyes peeled on this super yummy venture run by my delightful friend, Summer of Roses on Paper! ;) Hmm, I wonder what goodies will be offered there...! ;D

Stay tuned for more exciting details in the very near future!

Last but not least, I have heard of some talk regarding digital/downloadable stamps and the idea has been presented to me also. At this time however, I will not be going forward with it. Thanks to all for the interest, but between the stamp companies and myself, at this point, we feel high quality rubber stamps is something we will be sticking with for a while :)

Have a great day and remember to check out this fabulous new store!

Huggles!

Elisabeth xx

Serendipity and SASS 5/1/09

Serendipity and SASS

This week has been incredibly busy, filled with birthdays. If my birthday 2 days ago wasn’t enough, today, my eldest daughter turns 8 years old! Where does the time go? It seems like only yesterday she was a little girl, still in diapers with her rosy plump dimply cheeks and rolls on her legs and arms...now she has lost so many of her baby teeth and fast becoming an Artist like her Mummy heehee. And now she has two toddler siblings following in her footsteps. Life truly is bounteous and beautiful.

❀ Happy Birthday Alora! ❀

And while we’re still on the subject of birthdays, I received the most gorgeous card from the very talented Camilla, who is also on the WoJ DT, in the mail today. I will post a pic of it soon so you can see how beautiful it is. Thank you so much Camilla! *Huggles!*

I made a serendipitous discovery this week as I was looking through a number of my older illustrations in the archives of my office (otherwise known as an old drawer haha). Upon sifting through many dear illustrations, I came across a darling image I had created some time ago. I have called it,

“Christmas Wishes”

Featured here is "Christmas Wishes (Vintage)", and both versions can be found in the Sweet Art Colour Gallery. These images are available as a print and also as a t-shirt design that will be available soon, so stay tuned ;). I plan on having designs for tees for children, but if you are interested in having a tee in adult size, this option will also be available.

I had also promised some new SASS images and I have posted a few in the SASS Gallery with more images to come. You will find the following NEW SASS images, including some cute “Boy” images:

✿ Beary Big Hugs

❀ Sweet Incorrigibility

✿ Cowboys and Indians

❀ Reading Time

✿ Fall Recipes

❀ Fall Apple Basket

✿ Christmas Faery

I hope you enjoy them :).

Last but not least, I will be announcing the next Very Big Blog Candy Give Away very soon so stay tuned! Oh, and if you haven't already pre-ordered the Whiff of Joy Summer Stamp Kit, time is ticking quickly. All Pre-orders for this Kit will close on May 4th so hurry so you don't miss out!

Have a wonderful weekend!

❀ Big Hugs from your Joyful Artist ❀

❀ Birthday Bliss and More! ✿ 4/30/09

❀ Birthday Bliss and More! ✿

Happy Half Past Eleven PM Peeps!

I get a bit goofy when I’m up so late and decide to blog (uh oh). But I just HAD to post the coolest pic that I took of the most breathtaking cards I received in the mail this week  and also the fabulous DELICIOUS surprise I had delivered to my door earlier today! If you look closely, I received a card from Aija, Bev, Frances, Jacqui, Jeanette and Katharina, all of whom are on the Whiff of Joy DT, Katharina being the owner of course heehee. And the big and beautiful cake is from my good friend, Katharina! I couldn’t believe my eyes when the delivery guy came up to our door and handed me a big pink box. He said, “Someone thinks very highly of you”, and I replied, “I think very highly of them too” ;D

You can get a better view of each gorgeous card by clicking on each of the names below and the link will take you to a larger image in my galleries.

Aija

Bev

Frances

Jacqui

Jeanette

Katharina

Thank you so much ladies, your cards are GOOORGEOUS and you are FABulous! I love you TONS! (((Big Big Hugs)))

Yes, today, heaven forbid, is my birthday and I turned a whopping twenty-something...twenty-fourteen to be technical haha! My beloved Better Half was working today so the kids were left entirely up to me. It’s shocking how Birthdays never seem to notice that one day is different from any other, I was up to the very tips of my split ends in household work and chasing after the little kidlets ALL day! LOL. No rest for the Birthday Girl (especially not for Moms, right?). But when hubby returns home tomorrow, he tells me I won’t have to lift a finger, he’ll do EVERYTHING.

So I’m going to hold him to it. Hahaha

I noticed on my previous blog posting a number of you have sent me more birthday wishes! And for those of you who have sent me emails too, thank you so much. I can’t tell you how fantastic you all are and how much I LOVE the warm fuzzies I get when I read your kind words. Thank you to each of you too and (((more Big Birthday Hugs))) to you all! ;D

Oh, and I have an exciting announcement (no, I’m NOT pregnant! Haha). I will be holding another BIG blog candy give away much like the one I just held, sponsored by the incredibly generous Katharina Frei of Whiff of Joy Stamps.

And. I’m planning on adding an “Elisabeth Bell” t-shirt to the prize! I’m still working on this, it’s all very new. I’ll post more details soon ;)

Oh, and I almost (almost but didn’t) forgot, I have a number of NEW SASS Images to post very shortly so keep your eyes peeled on this space ;D

And just one other note, if you haven't snagged your Whiff of Joy Summer Stamp Kit, there's still time. But Pre-Orders closes on May 4th, so hurry so you don't miss out.

It’s way past my bedtime, being the night hawk that I can be, so I will bid you good night until next time, and very soon I might add ;)

Biggest Hugs!

Elisabeth xxxx

And the Winner of the Super Scrummy Blog Candy Is... 4/7/09

And the Winner of the Super Scrummy Blog Candy Is...

✦ Happy Late Evening! ✦

Wow, what a crazy day it’s been over here. My two babies are sick and hubby has caught a nasty bug too :(. Thankfully our 7 yr old is still doing well and she has been a big help around the house with her little brother and sister. As for me, I’ve been doing mountains of laundry and keeping up with the demands of my family. But I guess this comes with the “Family” package deal and we get to experience such privileges, right? Haha

Oh My Wooooorrrdd!!! When I decided to leave my Super Scrummy Blog Candy Give Away up for two weeks, I had no idea how much attention it would receive! WOW!!! There were about 450 comments (I also made sure to collect the comments for the Give Away that were placed on the adjacent blogs) and making sure that every single qualifying entry was placed correctly on random.org was certainly a labor of love and patience haha! But oh, it was completely worth it.

I enjoyed immensely reading all your lovely words, and I feel incredibly blessed to receive so much of your love! Thank you to everyone who participated in this give away and thank you so very very much from the soles of my pinky toes for all your loving comments and support! I felt so bad that I had to ignore a few comments that were made in the wee hours of April 7th but thank you, thank you to those who made the effort to join the fun.

So without further delay, the first name that came up on random.org of the lucky winner comes from Scotland...drumroll....

And here is her comment:

“WOW what a lovely giveaway!! I love all the Willow images she is just so lovely! My blog is http://scotspanda.blogspot.com/ and I have linked you to my sidebar :o) I am from Scotland and have only just found your blog, I am sure I will be back :o) lotsalove Amanda xxx”

--- Amanda, 4/2/09

✿❀✿

Ooohh, some more great news! Have you seen the latest on Katharina’s blog? The very generous and talented Katharina Frei will be taking pre-orders for the NEW Whiff of Joy “Elisabeth Bell” Summer Stamp Kit on

Monday April 14th through til Monday May 4th.

She has also provided a sneaky peek of one of the images in the kit. And to add more spice to the mystery, the whole set will remain a secret until it is shipped to you. Of course I know what they all look like (hehe) but when Katharina sent me an image of the plate containing all the stamps, I about fell off my chair. They look even more stunning than the Spring Stamp Kit (and you've got that on good authority heehee!). Katharina has arranged the images so delightfully together, and this time, the kit comes with sentiments! So all in all, the Whiff of Joy Summer Stamp kit contains 6 fabulous, brand new character stamps and 5 accessory stamps, including sentiments, 4 text stamps designed by Katharina herself - and believe me, they are GORGEOUS!

So if I haven’t teased you enough already (which we just love to do lol!), please visit Katharina’s blog to read more of the scrummy details.

And to pre-order the stamp kit, please go HERE

But I must encourage you to get in fast because they’ll most likely go quickly, and once the window to pre-order the kit is closed, the kit will no longer be available and the stamps will only be sold separately. Soooo, set your clocks to Monday April 13th and have fun! :D

❀✿❀

Last, but certainly not least, I had a HUGE blast chatting with so many lovely ladies on PCP at Susana’s Custom Art and Card Designs Party! Thank you for making the evening so successful and so exciting! After everyone said goodnight, I went back and answered any questions I might have missed during the party so I hope you take a moment to read them :).

Oh, and Susana is holding a super scrummy, super Nummy Blog Candy Give Away of her own! This Blog Candy is open from April 6th-April 13th (midnight EST) Please go here to enter and it’s super duper easy and fun!!

Hi there, love the new Whiff of Joy collection, haven't got round to purchasing any of the new ones yet as I have just splurged on your last set of six stamps at Sugar Nellie - they are all gorgeous and I can't wait to ink them up. They are always such a joy to colour. I checked the Funkykits sit this morning and I see that all but one of your 6 new stamps have sold out and they only went live 2 days ago.

Super Scrummy Blog Candy Give Away!

❀❀ THIS CANDY IS NOW CLOSED. Thank You to All for Participating. Please note that any comments that were made after midnight April 6th (ie. April 7th) will not be submitted. The winner will be announced later today. Good luck to Everyone! ❀❀

Hey-di Ho Peeps!

Tonight begins my second Blog Candy Give Away for 2009 and I’m sooo excited to share with you what this candy’s yummy give away will be!

So without further delay, let’s get straight into it. You may recall in February of this year, Whiff of Joy released a limited edition of the very exciting Whiff of Joy “Elisabeth Bell” Spring Stamp Kit 2009. Preorders were accepted for a short time and apparently, the kit was very successful (which is very exciting!). As many of you know, the Whiff of Joy 2009 Spring Stamp Kit is no longer available as a set and each stamp is now sold separately from the Whiff of Joy website.

So tonight, I have a special surprise. My very generous friend, Katharina Frei, creative stamp genius and owner of Whiff of Joy Stamps, has once again kindly donated one of the very lucky last Whiff of Joy 2009 Spring Stamp Kits for tonight’s Blog Candy Give Away! Woo-hoo!

As seen in the image above, featured are all the stamps that one lucky winner will receive! Along with Katharina’s gracious prize, the lucky winner will also receive one 9 x 12 inch *available print of their choice from either one of the Sweet Art Colour or Sweet Art Ebony galleries from my site. The print will also be signed by me and the winner will also have the option to have their print personalized with a name or a brief saying. So you can imagine how very thrilled I am to announce this amazingly exciting Blog Candy Give Away tonight!

So, here are the winnings:

Whiff of Joy Spring Stamp Kit 2009 from the “Elisabeth Bell” Willow and Oakley Collection, which comprises of 6 Character stamps and 3 Accessories, each stamp being an unmounted rubber stamp (Update: all images appear on one slab of quality, unmounted rubber which can be cut down to size according to each image):

* Oakley with Slipover

* Kneeling Willow

* Willow with Flowers

* Willow Sitting with Floral Wreath

* Willow with Flower Basket

* Willow with Sun Hat

* Chickie

* Easter Basket

* Tree Stump

♥ Plus one 9 x 12 inch personalized and signed *print of your choice from either one of the Sweet Art Colour or Sweet Art Ebony galleries.

So how do you enter? It’s very easy.

Simply leave a comment under this blog and let us know which is your favourite Whiff of Joy stamp from any of the Whiff of Joy “Elisabeth Bell” Collections, and why you like it.  If you have a blog, please post this candy on it and leave your blog address here next to your comment. If you don’t have a blog, that’s okay too. Just go ahead and leave your comment. Oh, and let us know where you’re from! It’s so fun to find out how many different places each of you stamp lovers are from. :)

(Just as a side note, when you leave your comment, it won't be posted immediately but is just waiting for approval. So don't worry, it hasn't disappeared completely :D)

The winner will be chosen by random drawing and this competition will be closed three weeks from now on Monday April 6th at midnight. The winner will be drawn and announced on Tuesday April 7th here on this blog. As the Whiff of Joy Spring Stamp Kit contains such a lot of stamps to win at once, I’ve decided to leave a good amount of time for this give away to allow for as many entries as possible. We don’t want anyone to miss out! :D

So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and start posting your comments! Heehee :D

Have a super fabulous evening and good luck to everyone once again!

Biggest Hugs,

Elisabeth xx

*Please note that print must be an image that is currently available for distribution from said galleries.

✐ Update March 30 2009 ✐

Hi Everyone!

It’s unbelievable how many comments have been made on this candy give away, I checked earlier this morning and my eyes about fell out of my head LOL! Thank you all for participating and it’s just going to make random.org work even harder to randomly select the winner! hehe The competition is still on for 7 more days before this candy closes so keep those comments coming if you haven’t already participated for a chance to win. :D

I just wanted to make a very quick note that some of you have mentioned some of the gorgeous Whiff of Joy Party Animal designs in your comments. I am flattered that you feel these stamps are beautiful enough to be created by me, but I don’t want to take away the real credit from Alison Acton, who is the illustrator for all the WoJ Party Animal stamps. So just so you are aware, this range of gorgeous images are not created by me :).

Have a lovely new week and good luck to everyone!

Biggest Hugs,

Your Joyful Artist,

Elisabeth xx
